PeprCheck keeps as little of your data as it can, stores it in the EU, and lets only your account see your designs.
Where does PeprCheck store my data?
Your PeprCheck data is stored in the EU. When you upload a spec sheet or photo, an AI service in the United States reads it so we can fill in the parts for you. Our privacy notice lists everyone who receives data.
How does PeprCheck protect my data?
Your PeprCheck data is encrypted, both on the way to us and while it’s stored. We never sell it.
Who can see my designs in PeprCheck?
Each PeprCheck account can only see its own designs and saved comparisons.
What does PeprCheck keep when I use it from Claude, ChatGPT or the API?
PeprCheck doesn’t keep your packaging details or the answers when you use it from an AI app or the API. We keep only daily counts of how many items of packaging were priced and how many requests failed, and a note of which app or API customer connected. We never keep a whole API key, only a fingerprint to check it against.
Does PeprCheck hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001?
PeprCheck doesn’t hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification itself yet. We’re still in our invitation-only phase. The companies we rely on to host and store our data hold both certifications.
How do I report a security problem with PeprCheck?
You can report a security problem with PeprCheck by emailing hello@peprcheck.com. Tell us what you found and how to reproduce it, and thank you for taking the time.
